Description: EVIA; SUPERB BUILDING PLOT; 2440 S.m. 45,000

This attractive plot of land on Evia, is in the small village of Almiropotamos and has full advantage of the beautiful scenery in this part of Evia. The land is suitable for building as it is within the village planning zone and has an automatic right for development, up to a maximum of 220 sq.m. A water supply is already on site and electricity is nearby. Demand for building land on Evia is fairly constant because Evia is easily accessible from Athens and this has helped to keep prices for building land firm over a number of years. The land is approached by a newly surfaced road leading from the main village road to the sea and then by a short unmade access road. The top part of the land is level and then slopes slightly down to the field buildings which can be seen in the photographs. The lower part of the land is terraced and forms one side of a valley leading down to a stream, with stunning views across and down the valley. Almiropotoma is only a 10 to 15 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Styra. Almiropotamos is a small village where there is demand for both holiday homes and permanent residences. It is particularly popular with Athnenians and there is also demand for holiday rentals. The nearest beaches are less than ten minutes away and there is a selection of tavernas, as well as a small attractive harbour for yachts and the local fishing boats. It is an excellent area for walking and mountain byking and the outstanding mountain and coastal scenery provides a year round attraction for the artist and the photographer. The infrastructure in this part of Evia is rapidly improving. Many areas which were virtually inaccessible because of poor roads or tracks, are increasingly being opened up as unmade roads are levelled and surfaced. Evia is the second largest of the Greek islands and is connected to the Greek mainland by a new road bridge at Halkida. It benefits from regular ferry services which operate throughout the year
